According to local media, a wave of car break-ins in various locations in Aarhus has prompted East Jutland police to issue a warning to car owners. In a press release on Saturday, police stated that they had received more than 40 reports since Friday night about car break-ins, during which windows were smashed and items were stolen from the vehicles.

According to the statement, East Jutland police do not believe that the same perpetrators are behind all the robberies. They add that a major investigation has been launched, and the police encourage anyone who has seen suspicious people in parking lots to contact the police. At the same time, the police encourage car owners to remove valuables, bags, and electronics from their vehicles, as thefts involving such items from cars have already been reported.
