Panic at a Danish school: Student chased with a knife, students evacuated, and suspect arrested.

A serious incident occurred at an educational institution in Denmark earlier this afternoon, Friday, when students at HF & VUC Nordsjælland school in Hillerød were threatened with a knife. The school administration confirmed that the incident took place around 1:00 PM.
According to the school principal, Trine Larsen, a staff member noticed two people acting suspiciously on school grounds, and it turned out that one of them was carrying a knife. The emergency plan was immediately activated, and the students were evacuated from the building for their safety.
According to eyewitnesses, the two men ran in front of the school and threatened some students, and one of them chased a student while carrying a knife.
Police later intervened and arrested the suspects. However, Nordsjælland police later clarified that only one person was arrested: a 20-year-old man from Tastrup, a suburb of Copenhagen.
The school principal indicated that the incident was extremely shocking for the students and staff, and therefore psychological support specialists were called in to help those affected by what happened.
Police are still investigating the circumstances of the incident, while the media are trying to obtain more details about the event.
