A 33-year-old man was seriously injured after being stabbed in Amager, south of the capital Copenhagen, on Tuesday evening.

Espen Gudiksen, the duty officer with the Copenhagen police, told TV2 yesterday around 11 p.m. that police had spoken to the man and were present in the areas of Grejsvej, Hedegårdsvej and Engvej.

The police continued the investigation into the case and the search for the crime scene in the three areas until about 05:00 on Wednesday morning, and then the police left, but the case is still under investigation.

The police received the report at 9:27 PM, and about a quarter of an hour later, at approximately 9:40 PM, a man appeared at Amager Hospital with a stab wound.

According to Espen Gudiksen, it is still too early to say anything about the motive, and the police cannot say anything regarding the perpetrator either.
