Police in Central and West Jutland are seeking witnesses and mobile phone footage from last night after a 28-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen in Herning, specifically on Smallegade Street. He was found at 4:30 a.m. in Gl. Landevej and taken to the regional hospital in Gudstrup, where he was placed in an induced coma. This incident follows two other stabbings in Copenhagen last night. Anders Bog Hansen, duty officer for the Central and Western Jutland police, stated that the man was out of life-threatening danger but had been placed in an induced coma due to his condition.

Two people arrested
Police have arrested two men from the Herning area, aged between 22 and 30, on suspicion of knife attack, and they will appear at a constitutional hearing in the Viborg court today, Saturday, at 13:30.

Police stated: “They have a connection to the victim and we assume we have apprehended everyone involved in the assault. But we still want to hear from people who saw or heard something. There may also be some who have mobile recordings – either from Smallegade or Gl. Landevej.”.

During the night and Saturday morning, police patrolled the area with dogs to look for evidence about the stabbing incident.
