Two people were killed in a collision between two large trucks in Genvejen in Viby, southwest of Aarhus, East Jutland police announced at around 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
The road where the accident occurred has been closed and the closure is expected to continue until midnight.
According to the police, the victims of the accident were two 63-year-old men from East Jutland, and their relatives have been notified.
In addition to the police, emergency services were called to the scene and brought the fire that broke out in the incident under control.
The circumstances surrounding the serious accident have not yet been clarified. It is customary in serious accidents for a specialist to be called in who can assess how fast the vehicles were being driven, whether the brakes were used, or the like.
