Breaking news: A 14-year-old girl has died and several others were injured in a serious accident at the Tivoli Friheden amusement park in Aarhus.

A 14-year-old girl from Copenhagen died on Thursday afternoon following a tragic accident at the Tivoli Friheden amusement park in Aarhus, specifically on the Cobraen ride. The girl's relatives have been notified.

A 13-year-old boy also suffered injuries to his hand, and the boy's parents have been notified. In addition, other people were taken to the hospital.

East Jutland police received a report at 12:50 pm today that a vehicle was stuck in Tivoli Friden in Aarhus, where the vehicle had detached and several people were trapped.

Police announced that they will investigate the exact cause of the accident, including the death, and are conducting technical investigations and questioning witnesses at the scene.
