For the first time, and as part of her annual summer tour, Queen Margrethe II will pass through the Frederiksberg region.
The Queen will arrive in Frederiksberg Municipality on September 1 at 10 a.m. and will be received by the mayor of the municipality, Michael Windfeldt.
The carriage journey will then continue through the city under the protection of the Gardehusar Regiment's mounted squadron, and residents can attend the Queen's procession, which will include more than 50 horses, according to a press release from the Frederiksberg municipality.
The mayor commented, "I hope many people will stand ready along the way and contribute to the celebration of the Queen this year on the 50th anniversary of her accession to the throne.".
