According to the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, Denmark, Sweden and Norway have signed an agreement stating that the countries will be able in the future to benefit from each other with regard to military infrastructure, including the use of airspace.
This was stated by Swedish Defense Minister Peter Hultqvist at a press conference in Malmo, where the defense ministers of the three Scandinavian countries met to discuss strengthening cooperation following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
During the press conference, Danish Defense Minister Morten Bodskov stressed the importance of the agreement, stating: “We must work more closely together, share information more often and directly, and remove obstacles to cooperation in military operations.”.
