In the context of the local municipal council elections scheduled for November 16 this year, some people believe that if you choose to vote by mail, it means you can simply fill out the form at home on the coffee table and drop it into an envelope, but that is not true.

If you want to vote by mail, you must go to specific locations to vote by mail.

In Denmark you can vote by mail in all municipalities of cities or remote small islands, or in citizen service centers or nursing homes, or in hospitals if the person is hospitalized. You must then fill out a form in which you and the recipient of the vote confirm that everything went well.
