According to TV2, three men aged between 28 and 35 were brought before a constitutional hearing in Glostrup on Monday. Two of them were subsequently remanded in custody for four weeks, while the third was detained for three days before being retried. Among the charges against them is depriving a young man of his liberty and subjecting him to serious violence for 17 hours, from Saturday evening until Sunday afternoon. They also demanded half a million kronor from the victim's mother if she wanted to see her son again.

After abducting the man, assaulting him, and forcibly placing him in a car, the young man was subjected to threats and serious violence for 17 hours, resulting in a fractured skull, a broken jaw, and severe damage to one of his eyes. During his captivity, in which the victim was bound and gagged with tape—the condition in which the police found him—the perpetrators contacted the victim's mother several times, stating that she would need half a million kronor if she wanted to see her son again.

The six men charged in the case range in age from 26 to 60. The three who were not brought to the constitutional hearing on Monday remain charged but have not been arrested.

The Vestegnen police in Copenhagen received the report on Saturday evening, and the police, in cooperation with the police districts of South Zealand and Lolland-Falster as well as PET, carried out a “comprehensive search operation” on Sunday.

During the afternoon and evening on Sunday, the six men were arrested in Nestved and the surrounding area, and the three who were in court in Glostrup were arrested on Monday at about 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The court doors were closed and the press was sent out immediately after the charge was read aloud. Therefore, there are still a number of unanswered questions in this case, such as what the relationship is between the accused and the victim and whether there are more perpetrators in the case, according to the source.
