The Danish Parliament's Epidemics Committee, composed of 21 members representing the health officials of the parliamentary parties, agreed to reclassify COVID-19 as a socially serious illness in Denmark for four weeks, after which the situation will be reassessed. The committee also agreed to reinstate the use of the Coronapas app as a mandatory requirement starting Friday, November 12, for an initial period of four weeks upon entering the following places:

  • hospitals
  • nursing homes
  • Restaurants, cafes, nightclubs, and party buses, regardless of the number of people.
  • Churches
  • Any event or gathering with more than 200 people indoors or 2,000 people outdoors, including museums, theaters, and cinemas.

It is worth noting that Coronapas is not required in fitness centers, when visiting hairdressers and barbershops, or at massage and tattoo parlors.

Coronapas is considered valid in these cases:

  • Get the full COVID-19 vaccine or let 14 days pass since your first dose
  • If you have had a coronavirus infection within the last 6 months
  • If the PCR test result is negative within a maximum of 96 hours or the rapid test result is negative within a maximum of 72 hours
  • Coronapas test required for ages 15 and above
