Milan Rahim, 19, died yesterday from stab wounds sustained on Sunday in Taastrup.

According to Ritzau, citing West Copenhagen police, the police received a message from the hospital on Wednesday morning announcing the death of the young rapper Milan Rahim (19 years old) after a knife attack.

The stabbing took place on Sunday between 16:00 and 16:30 in Taastrup, and two young men were rushed to the hospital's emergency department, one of them Milan Rahim.

Milan Rahim was known among the younger generation through his Danish-language rap songs. The late Milan released several songs on the music service Spotify, and his songs were played more than half a million times, according to BT.

Following the stabbing incident, three young men were arrested, one of whom was one of the two knife-wielding assailants and remains in hospital suffering from his injuries. He was not present at the constitutional hearing but appeared before the judge on Wednesday morning after his health improved, according to the Copenhagen West District Police.

Three young men, aged 18, 21 and 22, were initially charged with attempted murder.

At a constitutional hearing on Monday, the prosecutor announced the possibility of changing the charge to the murder of Milan Rahim for the two young men, one aged 21 and the other aged 22, who sustained stab wounds. However, the extension of the charge was not confirmed on Wednesday morning. The third individual was charged with stabbing. The accused were remanded in custody for four weeks pending the case.
