Yesterday, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen posted a picture on her official Facebook page showing the Prime Ministers of Finland, Norway, and Sweden together, and wrote, expressing her happiness: “For the first time in 20 years, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark have a Social Democratic Prime Minister, and for the first time ever, all three of us are women.”.

Frederiksen added, “We need this to strengthen cooperation between our countries. We met today at the Leaders” Meeting. The distance between our four countries is small, and the community as a whole is a model of our unique Nordic society. Our communities have already demonstrated their strength during the pandemic, making the four countries the best in dealing with the pandemic.”.
