The Danish Food Administration announced on its website the recall of "Dubai Chocolate" from the "Habo" factory after the discovery of E. coli bacteria. (Image and source link below).

Normally it is the manufacturer that recalls the products, but the company has ceased operations, so it is the Danish Veterinary Food and Drug Administration that is doing so, according to the DR website.

The chocolate in question has an expiry date of 20.11.2025, and is sold in various bazaars and stores throughout the country.

Consumers are advised to return the product to the store where they purchased it or dispose of it.

If any symptoms appear related to taking the product, a doctor should be consulted.

Symptoms of E. coli infection include an acute stomach infection with diarrhea, abdominal pain and possibly vomiting.
