Police have concluded an investigation into a serious case involving a boy, now 16, who joined the far-right group Foyerkrieg (FKD), according to Ron Reddick, the prosecutor in the case. He stated that the prosecution assessed the evidence in the case and believes there are grounds to bring charges against the boy, and accordingly, a recommendation for prosecution has been sent.

It is common practice for terrorism cases to pass through the highest level of the prosecution service, the Minister of Justice, and receive the official seal of approval before formal charges are filed. Therefore, the boy remains only an accused, and it is unknown when the case will go to court. Since the new government has not yet been formed, it is unclear when the recommendation for an indictment will be considered.

The 16-year-old has so far been charged with being part of the Fouerkrieg (FKD) group from December 2021 to March 2022. The prosecution considers FKD a terrorist group. The accused youth is also suspected of recruiting his counterpart in the group and of having submitted an application for registration in December of last year, stating that at that time he was 15 years old.

The young man has maintained his innocence since his arrest, and his pretrial detention is scheduled to end on Tuesday, but he previously agreed to a voluntary extension of his imprisonment.

Dropping the charges against the friend
Earlier this fall, the prosecutor's office announced that they had chosen to drop the charge against the young man's friend. The two friends were arrested in April 2022, but only one boy was arrested.

It turned out that the boy was in an international chat group with an extreme Nazi accent and therefore belonged to the Fouerkrieg group.

They all had their heads cut off
DR had previously obtained a number of the group's private chat messages, which included extreme positions, among other things, writings about bombs, Islam, and spreading fear in the Western world: "Fuck all Muslims in Europe," wrote the 16-year-old, among other things, on January 14, 2022.

Another user wrote that this applies not only to Muslims but to all immigrants: “Yes. They cut off their heads all,” added the Danish boy who wrote under a pseudonym in the group, a claim confirmed by several sources to DR. .

On the same day, the thread discussed whether the Furkrieg band could have been inspired by the base.

  • We can be better. We won't hit any towers. The boy wrote that we would hit a nuclear power plant, most likely referring to the attack on the World Trade Center in New York in 2001.

It was not possible to obtain a comment from the boy's defender, Lasse Martin Duholm.

Regarding the constitutional hearing last spring, the boy’s lawyer at the time, Jens Klohog, said that the boy maintains his innocence of all charges against him, and the main point of view is that it is not a terrorist organization but an internet forum.

what she FKD ؟
Feuerkrieg (FKD) is a relatively new neo-Nazi group that advocates for race war and civil war and lives primarily on online media.

In 2019, a member of the FKD from Lithuania was charged with leaving a bomb in front of an administrative building in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius. However, the bomb did not explode, and the member, who was a teenager, was arrested in possession of bomb-making materials.

According to DR, FKD stated in a public message on Telegram on March 30 that the group had been dissolved, the reason being that many members of the group had been arrested, in addition to the belief that there were too many groups that had imitated them.
