Late on Friday evening, police received a report of a shooting in Brøndby, on the outskirts of the capital. Police arrived at Ulsøparken in Brøndby and found a 25-year-old man with gunshot wounds who was subsequently taken to Rigshospitalet in the capital.

According to a press release from West Copenhagen Police, there is no evidence so far to suggest that yesterday's shooting in Brøndby is related to the series of other shootings and killings that have recently occurred in the greater Copenhagen area in recent weeks. Police have interviewed a number of witnesses and are still searching for witnesses about yesterday's incident.
