According to TV2, the latest forecasts indicate heavy rainfall tomorrow, Sunday, with rainfall amounts expected to be between 25 and 40 mm.

Forecasts show that Bornholm, Lolland and Falster are the places in Denmark that will experience the heaviest rainfall.

Rain will begin early Sunday morning and increase during the morning hours.

Rainfall is classified as heavy when more than 24 mm of rain falls within a maximum period of six hours. Heavy rain can lead to the formation of rainwater pools in basements, bridges and other low-lying areas due to the inability of the drainage system to keep up with and drain large quantities of water, in addition to the possibility of landslides due to the rain. Heavy rain is often accompanied by thunderstorms.

Thunderstorms are expected to be severe in southern Denmark, with a slight chance of spreading to the rest of the country, according to forecasts.
