Here are ten new national nature parks in Denmark
According to local media, Environment Minister Lea Wermelin and officials from parliamentary parties revealed the locations of ten new national nature parks in Denmark during a press conference.
The purpose of parks is to create large nature areas where nature can develop on its own terms for the benefit of biodiversity and wildlife.
Here is a list of new parks where you can visit and enjoy nature:
Læsø Klitplantage
Hanstholm i Thy
Husby Klitplantage i Vestjylland
Compedal Plantage in Midtjylland
Mols Bjerge i Djursland
Nørlund Plantage and Harrild Hede in Midtjylland
Driven by Kongens Mose in Sønderjylland
Hellebæk Skov and Teglstrup Hegn i Nordsjælland
Bidstrupskovene in Midtsjælland
Ulvshale Skov på Møn
888 million Danish kroner have been allocated to give Danish nature significant attention and a new boost.
It is planned that there will be a total of 15 new national nature parks.
