According to DR, hard yellow plastic was found in bags of frozen vegetables sold at Rema1000, according to a warning issued by the manufacturer Ardo on Monday evening.
The bag of vegetables was sold under the name “Rema1000 Lækkert og Nemt Grøntsagsbund”.
The manufacturer advises anyone who purchased the aforementioned vegetable bag with an expiry date of 01/11/2024 to dispose of the product. Customers can also get a refund from Rema1000 stores.
Update: Less than a day after the initial announcement, the Danish Food Administration announced the addition of the same product, which also has an expiry date of 02/11/2024. It is recommended to dispose of it or return it to the store.
