Eight Danish women and 13 men nominated to become astronauts

The European Space Agency (ESA) received a total of 22,523 applications from across Europe from people wanting to become astronauts, including 145 Danish men and women, according to DIBusiness.dk. 

After processing all applications by the ESA, 21 people from Denmark were nominated. If final approval is granted, 8 Danish women and 13 men could become astronauts for the European Space Agency, which may call up new astronauts at regular intervals.
