According to TV2, a woman was shot in Gørløse on Monday evening, according to the North Zealand Police (Nordsjællands Politi), and her husband was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
The woman who was injured is 51 years old, and her husband is 57.
Police were alerted to the incident at 9:30 p.m. Monday, according to TV2.
A judge in Hillerood is scheduled to decide on Tuesday whether there are grounds for his continued detention. Police have not released any further information about the case, including whether the arrested person pleads guilty.
Police said the woman was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.
