20,000 Lufthansa employees announce a one-day strike at this time.

Starting Wednesday morning and for approximately one day, around 20,000 employees of the German airline Lufthansa will go on strike in an effort to obtain higher wages, according to a statement from the Verdi labor union, as reported by Ritzau.
The strike will only include technical staff and logistics staff working on the ground, and is scheduled to begin at 03:45 a.m. Wednesday and continue until 06:00 a.m. Thursday.
The union is seeking a 9.51 TP3T pay increase for employees and a minimum wage of €13 per hour. Lufthansa submitted a wage proposal, but it was rejected. Negotiations will continue on August 3rd and 4th. No details or forecasts have been released regarding the strike's impact on Lufthansa flights and passengers on the day of the strike.
