Urgent appeal from police after a stroller with a baby inside was stolen
Update: Police have announced that the baby was found safe and sound after an extensive search and that they have arrested a person.
Police in South Jutland, Denmark, have renewed an urgent appeal to find a seven-month-old baby who was kidnapped this evening from the center of Haderslev, in an incident that has triggered a widespread police mobilization.
Police reported that the incident occurred around 6:00 PM when a stroller with a baby inside was stolen from the city center. Witnesses stated they saw a man driving the stroller towards Gravene Street and then towards the Inderdammen area.
Police described the stroller as having a black frame and a white canopy. Shortly after the report, the stroller was found empty on Storegade Street, but the child remains missing.
South Jutland and South Jutland police confirmed that they have deployed all available personnel to participate in the search operation, noting that intensive searches are taking place in the area.
Police urged anyone with information that might help find the child to immediately call 114, and TV2 asked anyone with information about the case to contact them via email at 1234@tv2.dk. .
