Accused confessions
During today’s hearing at the Næstved court, the accused “partially” admitted that he had deprived the 13-year-old girl of her freedom for more than a day and subjected her to rape, after the police charged him with beginning a long-term deprivation of the 13-year-old girl’s freedom in his car and at two different addresses. He was also charged with committing several acts of violence, threatening violence, and subjecting the 13-year-old girl to several rapes.
The accused did not move a muscle while in court.
While the charges were being read, the accused sat calmly with his hands in his lap, and did not move at any time, nor did he look at the rows of spectators when he entered the courtroom.
After reading the charges, the court ordered the doors to be closed. This means that the public will not be informed of the evidence that the police have against the man to charge him with the points mentioned above. The prosecution requested that the door be closed in order to clarify the case and for the benefit of the victim.
A girl was found in the suspect's house.
It also emerged in court that the 32-year-old man picked up the girl on Saturday at 11:43 a.m., then drove her to two houses, the last of which was the man’s residence in Svenstrup near Korsør.
Court decision
The court in Næstved decided to detain the accused for 3.5 weeks until May 11.
