61,382 out of 80,078 applications were accepted for university studies. This is the highest required average, and there are options for those who were rejected.

According to local media, 80,078 students applied for higher education this year, and 61,382 of them were accepted into one of the majors they listed as priorities in their applications.

The average grade point average was the factor that determined whether or not students were accepted for those who applied through quota 1. This year, two study programs topped the list of the highest required averages for various specializations, with the specialization at the top of the list requiring an average of 11.5 out of 12 for entry. The specialization is Design at the Royal Academy of Arts (Det Kongelige Akademi), followed by the specialization in Designskolen Kolding.
