The Enhedslisten party may expel one of its members from the Norddjurs municipal council who insists there are “only two genders”.”
The executive committee of the Enhedslisten party has notified Ulf Harbo, a political member of the party and a municipal councilor in Norddjurs, of the possibility of his expulsion from the party, according to the DR website.
Ulf Harbo published the executive committee's letter, which stated that the politician is leading "a long-term offensive and public campaign at the expense of the Enhedslisten party and contrary to party policy... Your offensive and public campaign contributes to the exclusion and marginalization of transgender people, which Enhedslisten is fighting against," according to DR, citing TV 2 Østjylland.
