Zaytouna Scouts launched a scout union in Denmark during a meeting attended by a delegation from the Danish Scout Federation and representatives from the municipality of Aarhus. The new union is concerned with children and young people, both male and female, from the Arab and Muslim communities in Denmark, and aims to promote identity and belonging, refine talents, develop capabilities, and introduce nature, through scouting work represented by weekly activities and periodic scout camps held throughout the year.

It is worth mentioning that the Zeitouna Scouts were founded in 2018 and since then have achieved great successes that have been praised by the mayor of Aarhus and prominent political figures in Denmark, the most notable of which was Zeitouna Scouts winning the title of “Best Voluntary Work Organization” in 2020 in the Midtjylland region, which has more than one million inhabitants.

The Zeitouna Scout Union currently includes approximately 300 scouts, including leaders and members, through three active branches currently operating across Denmark. Work is currently underway to establish four more branches, bringing the total number of Zeitouna Scout centers to seven across Denmark.
