Heating outages affecting thousands of families in seven municipalities in the capital will continue until midnight.

The Vestforbrænding waste-to-energy plant has stopped operating due to a lack of electricity, the plant told TV 2 Kosmopol.
Christopher Mortensen, head of press and public affairs at Vestforbrænding, indicated that they have not yet been able to determine the number of customers affected by the heating outage, according to the source.
The station provides central heating for seven municipalities: Herlev, Egedal, Frederikssund, Ballerup, Lyngby-Taarbæk, Furesø and Gladsaxe, where customers may experience outages or, at best, weak and unstable service.
Power outages also temporarily disrupt the processing of large quantities of waste.
It was initially expected that electricity would be restored to the station by 13:00, but the latest estimates from Philip Brunom Olsen, media relations manager at Radius, indicate that the power will not be restored before 20:00, after which it will take about three more hours for heating to reach customers, meaning service will return around midnight.
