The Palestinian embassy in Copenhagen mourns the death of journalist Shireen Abu Akleh in a statement on Facebook.

The official Facebook page of the Palestinian Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark, published a condolence message for the Al Jazeera journalist, which read:

“In the early morning of May 11, 2022, Ms. Shireen Abu Akleh, a prominent Al Jazeera correspondent and veteran Palestinian journalist, was shot and killed in cold blood by an Israeli sniper who deliberately targeted her. The fact is, there were no Palestinian gunmen present that morning.”
