The 12th International Initiative Conference "My Food is My Medicine for Volunteer Work" concluded under the theme "Expo of Volunteering and Innovation".

In celebration of the 54th UAE National Day, International Volunteer Day, and International Day of Persons with Disabilities, children from the Al Tariq Center for Rehabilitation and Autism – Al Habtoor Palace, Dubai participated.

The Habtoor Palace in Dubai witnessed the conclusion of the activities of the International Food Therapy Initiative Conference for Volunteer Work, under the slogan «Expo of Volunteering and Innovation», with the participation of an elite group of community and health leaders and volunteers from various countries, in an event that embodied the values of giving and innovation, and reflected the status of the UAE as a global platform for sustainable volunteer work.
The conference coincided with the celebration of the fifty-fourth anniversary of the Union Day, as well as the commemoration of International Volunteer Day and the International Day of People of Determination, where the children of Al Tariq Center for Rehabilitation and Autism participated in a national and humanitarian atmosphere that expressed the spirit of unity and belonging, and reinforced the image of the Emirates as an incubator of tolerance and giving.
Participants affirmed that the conference represents a strategic milestone in solidifying the culture of volunteerism and linking it to global development goals, while highlighting the role of people with disabilities and productive families in supporting community development. The sessions also emphasized the importance of innovation in enhancing humanitarian, health, and educational initiatives, reflecting the wise leadership's vision of empowering individuals and preserving national identity.
The event included artistic performances by families of people with disabilities from the Al Tariq Center for Rehabilitation and Autism and the Emirates Association for Rare Diseases, in addition to the launch of the “Million Innovative Volunteers” award, which honored the winners in recognition of their outstanding contributions to serving the community, to be a milestone in the journey of volunteer and innovative work at the regional and global level.
The conference concluded with the honoring of a number of individuals and entities supporting volunteer work with the title of Ambassador of Community Volunteer Work, amidst a festive atmosphere that embodied loyalty to the homeland and the spirit of the Union, confirming that the UAE will remain a global model in promoting the values of giving and human innovation.
