According to TV2, a Norwegian Air flight took off from Copenhagen's Kastrup Airport on Thursday at 5:25 PM and was scheduled to land at Stavanger Airport at 6:40 PM. However, it turned around and returned to Copenhagen Airport after circling for 15 to 20 minutes before having to return. In addition to the Norwegian plane, an SAS plane that was on its way to the same destination in Stavanger also had to turn around and return to Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen, according to TV2. Both planes were asked to turn around and return, and both planes landed safely without panic or problems. Pictures from the airport showed passengers being evacuated from the plane on the runway, according to the source.

Both Copenhagen police and Norwegian Air confirmed to TV2 that police were on the scene conducting investigations. A number of security measures are taken when it comes to a bomb threat, with police thoroughly inspecting aircraft and checking all luggage. Police told TV2: “So far, we consider this a bomb threat,” according to Simon Hansen, deputy police inspector in Copenhagen, as reported by the source.

The source is still updating the information.
