
According to TV2, the tax ministry is set to refund a total of 11.3 billion Danish kroner to homeowners who overpaid property taxes between 2011 and 2020.
According to Avisen Danmark, citing TV2, the property valuation agency has already sent offers to owners of more than 300,000 homes to pay a total of five billion kroner in taxes.

Tax Minister Jeppe Brose explained to the source that homeowners who paid little tax are not in the category concerned who will receive a repayment offer from the Tax Ministry. The minister also expressed his satisfaction at reaching an agreement to send repayment offers worth 5 billion kronor and stated that the agency is in the process of sending the remaining assessments and repayment offers to homeowners.
The amount corresponds to each of them receiving an amount of 16,000 kronor, according to the source.
