According to the State Serum Institute, the number of deaths due to the coronavirus reached 10 cases during the last 24 hours, the highest since last February.
The figures also show that 2,097 new cases of the virus appeared during the same period, which represents 1.51% of the total tests conducted during the last 24 hours.
The number of coronavirus patients hospitalized has also risen to 277 (an increase of 14 cases since yesterday's statistics), with 36 of them in the intensive care unit, 20 of whom are on ventilators.
