An official source in the Jordanian Ministry of Interior said this morning (January 12, 2025 at 11:15 AM Copenhagen time) that it has been decided to allow Syrian citizens residing in European countries, North and South American countries, Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to enter the territory of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan without obtaining prior approvals, provided that they have valid residency permits for a period of no less than four months in the countries they are coming from.
This is to facilitate the return of Syrian brothers residing in those countries to their homeland, according to the Jordanian Ministry of Interior on Sunday morning.
