An unknown person attempted to set fire to a vaccination center in Horsens, Jutland.
According to a press release from the Southeast Jutland Police, an unknown person attempted to set fire to a vaccination center in Horsens on Sunday night.
Staff at the vaccination center contacted the police on Sunday when they noticed a shattered window in the building in Fuglevangsvej.
It turned out that whoever broke the windows also tried to set the building on fire, but failed. According to the police, the damage to the building was "mainly" limited to broken glass.
The police press release stated, “We are taking the incident very seriously and are currently investigating what is behind it. Vaccination centers and their staff have a vital community role at this time and should not cause alarm among their staff or among citizens coming for vaccination.”.
Police technicians investigated the crime scene and the vandalism that occurred. This incident has led to the Southeast Jutland police increasing their patrols at vaccination centers in that area.
