In less than 24 hours: Inger Støjberg secures double the number of votes needed for her new party

Less than a day has passed since former Immigrants and Integration Minister and expelled Liberal Party member Inger Støjberg launched her new party, the Danish Democrats, yet 40,321 Danes have signed up to submit an election declaration for her, and they must confirm their signature within seven days.

It requires 20,182 signatures from voters for a party to be eligible to run in the Danish parliamentary elections.
