A major evacuation of the Hamad Bin Khalifa Cultural Center in Copenhagen was carried out due to thick smoke.

This afternoon, the police and rescue team in Copenhagen carried out a large evacuation of the Hamad Bin Khalifa Cultural Center, also known as the Grand Mosque Storemoske, at Vingelodden 1A in Copenhagen.

The evacuation was due to the thick smoke that rose from the restaurant located on the ground floor below the mosque.

A number of people were evacuated from the mosque, and police said no one was hurt.
