Today, polling stations will be open until 8 pm for the municipal and regional elections.

Parties that are friendly to and supportive of immigrants and refugees are:
Enhedslisten (Ø), Alternativet (Å), SF (F), Radikale Venstre (B), Frie Grønne (Q)
:

  • Upon arrival at the polling station, you must first hand over your voter card and provide your date of birth to the voter registration officer, who will then hand you two ballot papers.
  • If you forget your voting card, you can still vote if you take an ID card with you such as a driver's license, passport, or yellow health card.
  • You must place only one mark on each ballot paper, either in the box to the left of the candidate or party you wish to vote for.
  • Write one of the following symbols in the ballot box: the letter X, the plus sign (+), the star (*), the fully shaded check box, the circle around the check box, and the check mark.
  • It is not permissible to write a message, draw, write a name, sign, or make any other mark on the ballot papers, otherwise they will be considered invalid.
  • The vote is secret, and your choice should not be visible when it is counted. Therefore, it is important that your ballot papers do not bear any distinguishing marks, as this will invalidate them and they will not be counted.
  • Use the pen provided in the ballot box.
  • If you make a mistake or tear up your ballot, you can get a new ballot from a polling station staff member outside the ballot box, provided that you do not put the first ballot in the ballot box.
  • Once you have marked your ballot papers, fold them once in half so that your mark cannot be seen.
  • Then you leave the polling room and place the papers in the ballot box.
  • You are allowed to bring your children into the polling room, but young children who do not know the alphabet may enter if election officials allow them to.
