The implementation of the Corona law, which allows private sector companies to require Coronapas, begins tomorrow, Friday.

Starting tomorrow, Friday, the new law will come into effect allowing private sector companies to require employees to see Coronapas if they wish, in order for employees to be able to enter the workplace, leaving the decision of whether Coronapas must be seen to individual companies.

Parliamentary parties voted in favor of a tripartite agreement, which included the government, parliamentary parties and professional unions, about two weeks ago.

In addition, one of the points that attracted attention in the new law was that it is possible for companies to require testing of their employees even if they have been vaccinated with the coronavirus or if they have previously been infected with the coronavirus, as this is possible in special cases and there are objective requirements. The special circumstances include major outbreaks or cases in which an employee must be sent to a country that requires, for entry, that they have been vaccinated and also have a negative test result.
