The Russian Embassy in Denmark: “It is not Russia, but NATO countries that are preparing for war.”

In a written response to TV 2, the embassy said that the FE agency was “as usual manipulating the facts.”.

Meanwhile, the Russian embassy accused Denmark of escalating tensions through actions including agreeing to impose sanctions on Russian gas and oil exports and entering into defense cooperation with the United States.

The embassy explained, according to TV2, that Russia is not interested in war with Europe, nor is it seeking it, including in the Baltic Sea region, and that claims to the contrary, including those issued by Denmark, are pure nonsense and have no basis in fact: “It is not Russia, but NATO countries that are preparing for war,” the statement said, according to the source.
