The Danish Foreign Ministry and other European countries issued a joint statement supporting Palestinian organizations "designated as terrorist by Israel."“

On Tuesday evening, the official website of the German Foreign Ministry published a joint press release issued by the foreign ministries of Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden regarding the classification of Palestinian civil society organizations as terrorist organizations. The press release stated the following:
“On October 22, 2021, Israel designated six Palestinian civil society organizations as terrorist organizations. Allegations of terrorism or affiliation with terrorist groups must always be taken very seriously. Therefore, the designations required careful and comprehensive evaluation. No substantive information was provided by Israel that would justify a review of our policy toward the six Palestinian NGOs based on the Israeli decision to designate them as “terrorist organizations.”.
Should evidence to the contrary emerge, we will act accordingly. In the absence of such evidence, we will continue our cooperation and strong support for civil society in accordance with the treaty. A free and strong civil society is indispensable for promoting democratic values and the two-state solution.”
