In 2024, the municipality made buses free for all children up to the age of 16, but is now abolishing the minimum age altogether.
Nordfyns Kommune will offer free local bus travel to everyone starting January 1, 2026, according to fynbus.dk. See the relevant bus/route numbers below.
Free travel is limited to local buses only in the aforementioned municipality. Therefore, you must obtain a boarding pass on regional bus routes, shared municipal bus routes, and school bus routes. If you transfer from a regional bus route to a local bus route and you are using a passenger card, you must check out on the regional bus.
