Central Jutland administration: 150 cases of leg amputations without cause... and the possibility of claiming compensation

As the Central Jutland District Health Department nears completion of its review of 1,816 patient records, it has identified
The district administration reported 150 cases in which patients' legs were amputated by mistake, i.e., without a necessary medical reason for amputation, during the past ten years.

Consequently, many may be entitled to compensation. The Central Jutland administration announced it is developing guidelines for compensation claims for patients who may have had a leg amputated without cause.
