The Danish Food Administration fines Burger King; here's what inspectors found.

According to local media, the Burger King fast-food restaurant in Næstved received the angry face mark on the Danish Food Administration's hygiene and health scale, as well as a fine of 15,000 Danish kroner for poor cleaning.
This is based on an inspection visit that took place on November 23, during which the Danish Food Administration found “dry dirt” in several places in the kitchen, and the edges and joints were full of “black dirt,” according to the inspection report. The device for storing nuggets and steaks was warm and dirty with “grey black deposits,” in addition to dirt on top of the plastic drawers.
According to the source, this is not the first time that Burger King in Næstved has faced cleaning problems.
According to the inspection report, the restaurant indicated that it “will be corrected immediately.”.
The Danish Food Administration was also able to prove that two days prior, the restaurant had used a disinfectant for daily wiping of the kitchen tables, but the tables had not been rinsed with water.
The inspection visit in July caused a crackdown because many of the tables in the restaurant's dining area were greasy and full of crumbs.
In the kitchen, there were also several tables with greasy materials on them, and the salt and pepper containers were dirty, according to the inspection report. .
Burger King, in turn, sent a written comment from its communications manager, Marcus Voldem, to the newspaper BT, expressing regret for the conditions mentioned at the Burger King in Næstved: “Burger King has a wide range of internal procedures and controls for hygiene, cleaning, and food safety, which should help ensure high quality in all our restaurants. Therefore, we work hard internally to ensure that the restaurant in Næstved meets the requirements of the Danish Food and Drug Administration, not least the quality that our guests know us for.”.
