The famous LEGO® toys are a Danish invention and some of their plastic pieces are plant-based!

The LEGO® brick-making game is known worldwide. It was invented and founded by the Dane Ole Kirk Christiansen in the city of Billund in 1949.

You can visit the LEGOLAND® amusement park in Denmark and enjoy it and learn more about this famous game. 

The company is proud of the fact that since 2018, some pieces of LEGO plastic toys have been made from plants! LEGO trees, leaves, and all those fun green elements are made from sugarcane-based plastic.
