The government will introduce a bill that will repeal the law that deducts the value of the additional salary from a retiree's pension if the retiree works and earns money, according to Ritsau, quoting Danish Labor Minister Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen.
The proposal will cost around 450 million Danish kroner and will increase the so-called structural labor supply by 1,050 people, according to the Ministry of Labor.
Although the law has not yet been officially adopted and will be voted on soon, retirees can in principle be happy because the salary will not be deducted from their government pension.
The law will be effective from January 2024, retroactive to January 1 of this year, 2023.
