According to BT, Copenhagen Airport (Københavns Lufthavn) announced that the water leak incident that occurred on July 1st did not go unaffected to baggage traffic, after it was later revealed that 130 bags did not arrive with their owners, in an amendment to the initial account that confirmed on the day of the incident that neither flights nor passengers were affected.
The narrative was modified after new information came to light.
BT reported that water flooded the departure hall at Copenhagen Airport on July 1st. At the time, the airport stated that the incident did not affect flights or passengers. However, the airport later revised this account, confirming that part of the baggage handling system was temporarily affected by the water leak, resulting in a delay of 130 suitcases before they were subsequently sent to their owners.

The airport explains the reason for the information discrepancy.

In explaining the discrepancy in information, the Copenhagen Airport press office, as reported by BT, explained that developments in the incident changed during the same day, adding that communications manager Lise Agerle Korsten had made her statements to TV 2 around midday, and at that time the malfunction had not yet been reflected in the baggage system.

The new information comes at a time when baggage system disruptions continue to affect a number of travelers at Copenhagen Airport, whose bags did not arrive with them during their travels.
724 bags not loaded onto Norwegian Air flights
A separate malfunction also occurred on July 5 within the baggage handling system at Copenhagen Airport, causing 724 checked bags on Norwegian Airlines flights bound for eight different European destinations to not be loaded, according to the source.
