TV2 has just reported that the Danish Maritime Authority has issued a warning about the risk of missile debris falling in the area between Korsør and Sprogø. TV2 has contacted the Armed Forces, who are currently unable to comment. Ships are being advised to avoid the area and drop anchor if necessary. According to the Danish Maritime Authority's website, a military exercise will take place in the area from April 4th to 5th. This report on TV2 is still being updated.

According to DR, the Harpoon missile on the warship Niels Juel, docked in Korsør, is at risk of accidentally leaving its launch pad, the Danish Armed Forces wrote in a press release, as reported by DR. The same source also states that from March 4th to April 5th, a military exercise is taking place in four designated areas around the Storebæltsbroen Bridge. According to the press release, the Danish Armed Forces stated that a fault in the launcher of the so-called Harpoon missile led to the closure of the airspace and the disruption of shipping traffic on the Storebæltsbroen Bridge. The problem arose during a test in which the missile launcher was activated but could not be deactivated. The statement added that specialists are en route to resolve the issue and are expected to arrive on Thursday afternoon.
