According to the press release, the Danish Armed Forces stated that a fault in the launcher of the so-called Harpoon missile led to the closure of the airspace and the disruption of shipping traffic on the Storebæltsbroen Bridge. The problem arose during a test in which the missile launcher was activated but could not be deactivated. The statement added that specialists are en route to resolve the issue and are expected to arrive on Thursday afternoon.
