The 365discount chain of stores announced that flour, sugar, and cold cuts are some of the products that will receive a new fixed low price in its stores, in addition to 50 other items, starting Tuesday, according to a press release.
A week ago, 365discount reduced the prices of 100 products. Netto and Lidl also lowered prices on a wide range of products as part of a plan to reduce the prices of goods frequently purchased by Danes.
The new fixed low prices come after a prolonged period of rising food prices: “We have seen significant growth in sales of our products over the past week, so we must conclude that customers have received them very well. With these price reductions, we aim to consolidate our market position, having won numerous price tests as the cheapest in the market in recent years. We will maintain this position through these three rounds of price reductions,” said chain manager Michael Tilstead in the press release.
365discount has reduced prices in three phases. In February, prices for milk and dairy products were reduced. A week ago, prices for meat, bread, pasta, diapers, and other items were reduced. Today, Tuesday, prices for flour, sugar, cold cuts, and other products are being reduced.
