A man was kidnapped and subjected to severe violence for 17 hours, and his mother was asked for half a million kronor.

According to TV2, three men aged between 28 and 35 were brought before a constitutional hearing in Glostrup on Monday. Two of them were subsequently remanded in custody for four weeks, while the third was detained for three days before being retried. Among the charges against them is depriving a young man of his liberty and subjecting him to serious violence for 17 hours, from Saturday evening until Sunday afternoon. They also demanded half a million kronor from the victim's mother if she wanted to see her son again.

The six men charged in the case range in age from 26 to 60. The three who were not brought to the constitutional hearing on Monday remain charged but have not been arrested.
